elaine, dont despair as you have read you are not alone in this . let me start out by saying i was very apprehensive about going to a specilaist my
doctor kept begging for me to have a sleep study done. this mind you after having even past out about 5 times. thank God none of those time i was driving for i too travel a long distance everyday to and from work. My advice to you would be let him read along this forum with you accompany him to the doctor as my wife did, there was no choice about that she insisted on that. do a lot of research, i am new too this actually im on day 6 of recovery from uppp and i pray to God that this does work, for I too have a large family 7 kids total and that is more than enough reason to start taking care of myself. i guess i didnt want to think that i was a fussy person going to the doctor everytime i felt something but you know something better safe than sorry i say.

God Bless you and your family
and remember do the research and there are alot of people here that are very helpful.
