Zach,
I have stitches that don't need to be removed. I also have had an itch and sometimes a sore spot on one side. I suspect that it has to do with the healing process. During my last visit, my surgeon was pleased with the way everything was healing. I will go back for another visit in mid-November. All in all, I'm pretty much back to normal, including eating hot Chinese food.

I did not have to use a CPAP machine. I did try one during my sleep study but couldn't tolerate it. What led me into this process in the first place was a bad case of snoring. I have noticed an improvement in sleep quality in that I don't need as many sleep hours and that I dream a lot more.
