treatment for sleep apnea

Has anyone heard of a new treatment featured on a recent primetime news program, where the patient receives injections that harden up the soft tissue in the back of his/her throat, reducing the patient's snoring? What is this treatment called and what exactly does it entail? What is the success rate?
