Hi Brent, one thing is for sure - if the uvula is reduced or gone, then you for sure will not be able to snore. To the extent that the problem does have components of apnea, the UPPP can help to varying degrees - not at all to an outright, but rare, cure. Good luck; mine was in October and the pain was not that bad after a week or two.
