Hi Marty, good for you for having the surgery! My MMA/GA etc. was at Stanford, and I stayed around for about a month in Palo Alto. During that time I joined a dating club, and met several women...as I explained to one tall lovely Chinese lady, "If a man meets you when he looks like this...he really want to meet you and you know he has confidence." Marty, you might want to be sure that there is no residual urinary tract infection left from the catheterization - a discussion of symptoms and a urine sample would settle all of that. Also, it is possible that the meds, especially the pain meds, reduce your ability to sense/know you need to urinate. Very unlikely, but: One problem that I know others with apnea have had is low testosterone, leading among other things, to low muscle tone including sphincters. Most like all of the problems will go away; good luck. By the way, there are some medications to deal with some of the incontinence problems.
Regards,
Tom
