Barney Rubble,

Hi! Good to hear from someone else who had this done recently. I'm at Day 3 po, and I think everyting is going pretty well, at least since I lived through yesterday--boy was I ill! Since the procedure, I've been able to tolerate Jello, ice-cream, apple juice, instant breakfast drink, applesauce (with effort), and lukewarm pureed pea soup (a nice change from everything sweet). They say this is easier on kids than adults, maybe because they are more resilient, but frankly, unless it was definitely going to improve their quality of life, I'd never subject my kids to this!

If I don't start sleeping any better by Monday, I'm going to ask my Dr. for something a bit longer-lasting for overnight.

Can't wait to try scrambled eggs--yummy!

Keep us posted!

Jan
