MMA Surgery & Continued Lip Problem ???

Hi All,

It's been a long time.

I had my MMA in March of 2001. Right after the surgery I had a lot of problems with my lips. At the time, I remember being told that I had a reaction to the vaseline they had me using. I also had an open sore following the surgery. What I can't understand is why I'm still having problems with my lips that I never had before. They are constantly peeling and appear/feel chapped, sometimes they even feel swollen.

Has anyone else had this experience following their MMA surgery? Am I just weird? (don't answer that).
