The pain might be about the same but lasts so much longer as the wires stay in for almost 6 to 7 weeks. Plus it is tender to chew for some time after that.

The MMA seems to be a big help in sleep apnea but it is necessary to have a qualified surgeon who has done it many times as there still can be complications.

I had my done at Stanford and I am pleased with the doctors. I have other problems such as co2 retention but that seems to be due to emphysema so I am trying to get that treated.

It cost a bit to have them do it but then they are the leaders in that area and I am not talking about the clinic at Stanford.
