I have been using an appliance called the T.A.P. (Thorton Advanced Positioner) for about 2 years now. It's not perfect, but better then nothing at all. I recommend that you stuff some pillows on your side, so you do not sleep on your back.
Some people hate dental devices in their mouth, but i'm one of those people that can't use a CPAP Machine, period.
