I've found that I can get by with significantly less sleep than before the Klearway, presumably because my sleep time is more restful. I also have significantly fewer morning headaches. As I mentioned, a followup sleep study with the Klearway in place confirmed its overall effectiveness.
But there are some issues with the Klearway. Especially in the morning, I have difficulty chewing. My lower jaw simply doesn't want to move back into its normal position to mate up with my upper teeth. By the end of the day, though, everything's back to normal. I have had some TMJ problems in the past, but not since I've had the Klearway (surprisingly enough).
One final note--be sure you can breathe comfortably through your nose before getting a Klearway (or most OSA treatments, for that matter). The Klearway feels big in your mouth at first, both in terms of how it surrounds your teeth and how it prevents them from coming together. The upshot is that you can't open your mouth too much to breathe, since it's already partially open and filled up with the Klearway. I had a septoplasty/turbinate reduction last year, and it has helped.
