I just had a sleep study done with a mandibular repositioning dental appliance (Not sure what a Herbst is) and it reduced it from 70/hour to 46.3...not enough unfortunately, and I'm going to have to think abouut some type of surgery. He used a computer to make the setting, but maybe he'll try moving it some more...I don't know yet, I have to call him today...I was very disappointed in the results :( I read in the literature about this that mild sleep apnea is usually what they work with...not severe like mine...
