I have MS and just had a sleep study done and my doc told me I have alpha intrusions and thats why I don't sleep well 19 minutes of restoritive sleep in 6 hours. I take 2mg of klonopin a night plus 20mg of zannaflex both very sedating and still sleep very poorly most nights. I wake up feeling like Ive been beaten with a stick. I would like to stop the klonopin since I don't have restless leg syndrome but does klonopin help with the alpha intrsion thing. I wasn't speaking to my own doc about this so I didn't get all the info I need to make a decision. What is alpha intrusions any way. Any answers would be appreciated.
