Sounds frightning, but I can surely sympathize with you. I have had reoccuring night terrors of being half awake and half asleep and see my walls and ceiling moving in on me. The feeling I get is the same feeling as if you were in a big trash compactor and someone outside just activated the compact switch without realizing anyone is in it. I always see no exits because I am partially dreaming and all I see is walls moving, the rest is dark. I always scream out for someone to cut it off or yell, "Hey, Hey, someone is in here". I feel as if death is close at hand. When I wake my self up from pure terror, my heart is ponding as hard as it can, I'm trembling, and my breathing is drastically increased. It is one of the most fearful things to have to go thru. Yes, I most certainly can relate. Your not alone!
