My 12 year old son has hypersomnia. He also has clinical depression and take's 200mg/day for his depression. We had a sleep study done and they diagnosed 'excessive daytime sleepiness'...This sleep problem is disrupting our whole life...no matter how much sleep he get's (and he get's plenty) I am unable to rouse him in the a.m. He has missed school and camp a lot...Has anyone found treatment for this??? We tried adderall, but he has to GET UP TO TAKE IT and the side effects were horrible....Please, if anyone can help us!!! Has anyone tried chromium and it helped them???

Thanks in advance,

Tamara
