My 22 month old son has been head banging since he was about 5 months old. It has now got to the point where he has numerous lumps and lacerations on his skull. He also sits and rocks/bangs the back of his head against the cot/wall and has bruises and scars on his spine.

I have seen a Paedeatrician who suggested working on his behaviour and temper tantrums.

Do you have any advice that would help me? It would be very appreciated.
