Hi eli,
I exercise regularly, I run at least 3 miles every other day, & do some weight-lifting & stretching, and I have continued this routine for most times during the past 25+ years. I find little or no association with sleep differences whether or not I have exercised that immediate evening, morning, or day or two days ago. I sleep pretty well under everyday circumstances.
But lately I have been doing some research on the net, and so far have found that the human "circadian rhythm" seems to dominate one's time to go to sleep and one's time to wake up. In other words, it's a lot more important than the timing of exercise, in my personal humble opinion. Glad to discuss more, if you want, e-mail me back.
Eileen
