You are the ones I'm looking for. I probably don't get enough sleep, but whether I've slept 12 hours or 6, and as far back into childhood as I can remember, I can't wake up well. I usually drift in and out for at least an hour before dragging myself out of bed. Once I am up, I'm okay. But that time between waking and standing is excrutiating for me--to the point that I am considering a sleep lab to see if there's anything that can be fixed or if, as one of you mentioned, it's just a bad habit. No one else I know can identify. I would love to pursue the issue!
