struggling to wake up

although i sometimes find it difficult to get to sleep my main problem lies in waking up!!

i really struggle waking up intime for college or any set time, i dont even hear my alarm clock even though it is loud. left alone i cant wake up before 12ish the only way i can wake up is if someone else wakes me. its really getting on my nerves and my parents is there anyway to resolve the problem?
