Bedwetting & Nightmares

Posted by molkoholic on January 19, 2005 at 17:15:18:

I'm an 18yo female and I still wet-the-bed, often as a result of nightmares. Sometimes I will go several weeks to a month without bedwetting, and other times I will go several days or weeks bedwetting in a row. Usually when i wake up having wet the bed it is after I have had a nightmare, usually one involving water. I used to wet the bed frequently as a child, and although i slept through alarms and medication did little to help I grew out of it at around the age of 12, however about 8/9 months ago it started again. None of my friends know about this and I feel very alone. Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I can stop this?
