Shifting during sleep

Posted by Gaston on February 04, 2005 at 05:41:20:

I have recently begun shifting throughout the night. This is really upsetting my wife as I am encroaching on her space, often ending up diagonal to the bed. Other nights, she says my elbow ends up in her face and sometimes I have accidentally hit her with it.

She's thinking about getting separate beds, or putting up some kind of "wall" between us in the bed. Has anyone else experienced this kind of situation? Anything would be appreciated.
