I also have a "seizure" like activity during sleep sometimes,
usually when I am overtired. I awaken with elevated pulse and
heart racing, sometimed with a feeling of vibrating or electricity,
or an "electrical" screaming in my head. My doctor says these are
panic attics, but I'm beginning to think they are caused by
apnea. It takes a long time for me to calm my racing circulatory
system afterwards, and go back to sleep.
Oh, yes, I have been diagnosed with high blood pressure, (a sign
of sleep apnea, maybe), and I get up several times a night to go
to the bathroom. I have read that this may all be related to
apnea. Do you ever dream that you are choking? I do. I have not
read anything to definately links the "seizures to apnea, but am
looking further. Please respond if you find out anything.
