From the age of five until ten or so each night as the sun would set this creeping fear would begin to set in on me. It would get progessively worse as the night when on to the point that I would be terrified by bedtime. I did not suffer from frequent nightmares or night terrors, though I did have an irrational fear that something bad would happen to my family (fire, burglary/murder, etc.)

Now I am 25 and I have begun to experience hypnopompic hallucinations. I wonder if there is anyone out there who experienced this sort of thing as a child, and if there is any connection with the hallucinations.
