Thanks, Sandman! This sounds like it could be a possibility...though, I doubt the doctor at my sleep clinic has heard of it. I did the sleep test on this site, and it does mention the possibility of sleep apnea. I did my own "sleep test" at home recently by videotaping an hour or so of sleep. I discovered that I snore (had no idea!) and I actually woke up or interrupted my sleep every 3 minutes as breathing appeared to become more difficult, though I rarely stopped breathing (as in OSA). I am very thin (6' and 155lbs) so the doctors tried to rule out sleep apnea from the beginning...but, from watching my video, I'm wondering if this is actually very similar to sleep apnea without the extra "tissue" to completely block the airway. My oxygen levels are normal, which would go along with what you stated above. Any suggestions on where to go from here? I'm in Arizona and thought I was going to one of the best sleep clinics in the area.

Thanks so much!
BubbaJo
