I've been going through some stress lately with school and just yesterday I went through a panic attack in the middle of the night. I was confused and delirious and I couldn't sleep after that. When I woke up I was nervous and anxious and that lasted for the entire day. I had another panic attack just last year around October, but at the time I didn't know that it was called a "panic attack" so I just disregarded it. I remember having my first panic attack when I was still at elementary school. Should I get help or is this normal? I also been going through anxiety on and off for two years. My parents have also had panic attacks in the passed and it could be hereditary. It seems like I only have these attacks when I take a long nap or when I wake up in the middle of the night. Any advice would be helpful. Appreciate it..
