Posted by ctwoman37 on October 01, 2007 at 18:35:35:I have a step-son that soon will be 14. He has a severe bed wetting problem, but it NEVER occurs at our house. He now lives with us , me and his father, no longer with his mother and he never wets the bed here. We have taken him to extended family vacations and he does not wet the bed there either, we cut the drinks off 2 hours before bed and it works, but his doctor says that it is psychological and not medical because he does not do it at our house. His self-esteem use to be in the gutter, but we work with him and right now he does not have any over nite visits with his mother. I am very concerned and love this child very much. His sister is also a bed wetting ..at 18!, but she has issues, she has also been very sexual, are these signs of sexual abuse? we put the kids in counseling and their mother takes them out, but now my husband has custody of his son so she cant take him out of counseling, any suggestions?
