On the weekends I can sleep for 10-12 hours at night and I still have to take one or two naps during the day just to make it through. I am constantly forgetful and disoriented. My vision is often times blurry and I am completely unmotivated, which is not like me.
This has been progressing over the last year or so. I am on the verge of losing my job and my saviour is a forgiving wife. I have bouts of uncontrollable crying and moments of complete rage when I get tired. The rage is usually followed by crying because I feel bad for the way I have acted. I also have difficulty moving in the morning like my legs and arms don't want to do what my brain tells them. Not like paralysis, more like excessive clumsyness. Also when I get tired or I wake up in the middle of the night I will have complete conversations with my wife I can't recall having. She also says I frequently try to "get some" at night while I'm sleeping but I don't remember.
I have had bloodwork done and no thyroid, testosterone or narcolepsy has turned up. I had a sleep study done and it's not sleep apnea.
The things my sleep study did turn up is that I fell asleep in less than 5 minutes and slept 97% of the time, which is apparently very high for someone hooked up to all those machines.
My doctor has resorted to telling me it's allergies, which I have a hard time buying. I have been on all kinds of allergy meds for about a month now with no progress. I go see the doctor again in two days. If anybody has any ideas of what my problem may be, please tell me. I would like to go to my doc with suggestions because I can't go on like this and I really can't deal with being told it's allergies.
