I'm no Dr, but you may want to revisit the data from the apnea study, maybe get the numbers looked at by someone else. Maybe you slept, but how is the sleep staging? How much REM? Some people have very low respiratory events but their sleep is still disturbed enough to cause terrible fatigue.
If your Dr says it's allergies, is he suggesting it is resulting in a compromised airway?
Are you on any meds that could be disrupting sleep stages?
Do you ever have 'good' nights sleep?
There is a story on this forum several years ago about a guy who described symptoms like yours, lost his job, wife, everything, then a few years of misery later found out he had apnea. Got it fixed then realized - Hey, I want the rest of my life back now!
Reevaluate the sleep study and get apnea excluded first. Apnea is actually one of the better things to have for these symptoms because it is usually a mechanical issue.
