Hi, I'm seem to be experiencing very strange sleeping patterns. I recently came to university in September and I have a lot of time off and I'm able to lie in a lot.

But things have been getting quite bad. I will, for example, go to bed at midnight, I don't have to be in until 2 o'clock the following day. The likelihood is that I'll sleep and lie in until about 12 or 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Then I will go to my lecture and feel quite sleepy. And then I can get on with the rest of day. And because I'm not a very active person, and get little exercise, I don't feel sleepy of a night. But I force myself to sleep otherwise I will be up until the very early hours of the morn. So again, the following night, let's say I go to sleep at 1 and have to be in a lecture at 10. I get up at 9:30, roughly, and I just can't get myself up unless I really force myself too and sometimes even feel ill in my stomach because I'm that tired. And then I'll leave my lecture and come back and nap for another 2 hours.

What is up with me? I'm starting to need about 12-14 hours sleep just to feel normal when I don't even need that much energy to get through the day. Any suggestions?
