Posted by SJQuinn on March 19, 2008 at 19:43:38:So, Im 18 and the past year or so has been really hard for me, family losing jobs, living in stress, depression and with no money etc. I recently moved to 'start over'.
To get to the point, I feel tired all the time. I could sleep forever if I could, even though I usually get 10-13 hours of sleep, sometimes more. It takes a long time for me to fall asleep, all the thoughts and anxiety about how long its taking me etc. I toss and turn all night long, so never get into that 'deep sleep' mode. I could go to sleep at 10pm and not wake up till noon, and I HATE it. I WANT to get up and do things and I have a new puppy, so I hate having him wait 12 hours or so for me to get up to let him out and eat. Its almost like I go from insomnia, to, just not being able to get out of bed. I just love sleeping! And I cant help it, thats what bothers me. Any ideas to help? Ive tried an alarm clock and i just get frustrated and turn it off, its affecting every aspect of my life and i would really love some input before I go to a doctor and have him tell me that "I jsut need to stop sleeping so much" well duh!
Any help??
