I told my GP about the ones I had in the day a few years ago but he didnt seem to care.

2 nights now everytime i'm about to fall asleep it is such a powerful and sudden jolt, like being zapped by a cattle prod. I used to enjoy sleeping so much, now i'm afraid to try.
