Please give me advice. I am a sleepwalker/sleeptalker. I do it frequently. Anyone who has ever slept in the same room as me can vouch for that. I also believe that I have some sort of arousal disorder, because if someone wakes me at the wrong time I can get downright violent/angry with them. My sleepwalking has gotten worse recently, probably because of increased stress. I recently injured my wrist while I was asleep (no idea how I did it, I just woke up with excruciating wrist pain one morning). I travel for work frequently and I am in hotel rooms a lot. I am worried that one night I am going to leave my room and do something. All of this led me to seek a sleep study. I did it two weeks ago. I didn't have any "episodes" that night. I actually got great sleep there for some reason, which was weird considering all the wires they hooked me to.

Well, the results from the study are back and it showed nothing abnormal according to the doctor. I don't understand it. I wake up constantly during the night, talk and walk according to my husband 3-4 nights a week. I just didn't do any of that the night of my study. My mother has the same thing that I do, but she has never done a study. I am so tired and stressed out over this, and it is just getting worse and worse. I feel like no one believes me. When I went in to have my wrist x-rayed and they asked me how I did it, the doctors looked at me like I was crazy when I told them sleepwalking. I am not some kook or anything. I am not making it up. I really do have something wrong with me. But according to the sleep study, I don't. I am at my wit's end here. What should I do?
