It is not uncommon for someone who sleepwalks to not have an episode during a sleep study.
Not having an event doesn't mean you don't sleepwalk, just means you didn't sleepwalk during the study. Most accredited sleep labs are aware of this.
Nowadays there are cheap video recorders that use infra-red for night recording. If you don't have one ask some friends. Make a recording in the extended mode for the longest possible recording and record yourself nightly until you capture a sleepwalking incident and show it to your doctor.
Until then safety is the main concern. Keeping any objects that can harm you or others out of your house and make sure it is difficult to open windows, doors, etc.
You may want to try placing an alarm on your bedroom door to wake you or others when you are sleepwalking.
Safety is the number until you get a proper diagnosis.
