Hello, I really hope someone can help us. Ok like a little over a month ago I started hitting my wife in my sleep. She says its more like im batting something away from me, I say if I'm causing her physical discomfort, I am hitting her. We've been married for almost a year but been together for like six. The crazy thing is, that I usually remember at least some of all of my dreams. When this happens I don't seem to remember anything. The only thing I have ever done even remotely close to this is an isolated incident that happened with an ex-girlfriend about nine years ago. With her I rolled over in the middle of the night and punched her in the face three time before I realized what was happening. Needles to say I felt terrible and slept on the couch for about a week and a half! Now with my wife its like it seems to be happening almost every night now. At first it was like once a week. Now I told me wife that I will sleep on the couch because I'm scared of what might happen, due to it getting progressively worse, and she will have none of it. I am on meds. 140mg. Methadone per day in the morning, & 20mg. Celexa, 300mg. Wellbutrin, and 80mg. Stratera, these three all at night. The only change in meds has been my switching from 5-10mg. Atterol in the morning to the Stratera at night(due to the fact that I felt like was on speed), but thats been like two and a half months ago. I think those are all the details if any more info is needed please just ask. Thanks allot!!
