Posted by shamblers on June 17, 2009 at 15:26:12:I took the sleep test and it told me I had symptoms of insomnia but it didn't have any questions on my other problem. Not only do I have problems falling asleep, but problems waking up. Example: Recently my sleeping schedule has been skewed since I lost my job a few months ago (partly because of my sleeping problems that I have had for at least a few years) and I have been going to bed around 4am (usually falling asleep around 5 or 6am) and trying to wake up around noon. But today I woke up around 5pm. This happens a lot. I will sleep soundlessly through my alarm and end up sleeping for 12 or 13 hours. I have no problems sleeping once I fall asleep but waking up is trouble. If I do wake up to my alarm, I feel extremely tired, but not through the whole day. It just takes me a long time to wake up, and once I have been awake for an hour or two I am fully energized. I cannot tell the difference between 4 hours of sleep and 8 hours of sleep, I am just as tired when I wake up and I usually snoozing until the last minute.
