Several years ago a man named Reno Tom used to post here often.

He designed a strap which would keep your mouth closed during sleep and I think there is a drawing of it on this site.

If you place your finger sideways under your bottom lip and push upward slightly you will see how it works.

I do not remember how long ago it was but if you do a site search on "Reno Tom" you may find it.
