I might have a similar disorder. Please read my
post called "EXTREME SLEEPER" and see if you have
similar symptoms. I read somewhere that REM sleep
is when you have memorable dreams, and I rarely
dream, so I was thinking that I might get too much
deep sleep and not enough REM sleep, like you
explained. So just check my post out, if you
would. We might both have the "rarest disorder
ever!!" :)

Thanks!

Oh P.S. I might have made it seem in my post like
its hard for me to stay awake, but that was only
because I have been going without any sleep at all
a lot lately, so naturally I'm tired. But I can
function pretty well on 4 hours of sleep, like you
were saying. Even my friends comment on it.
They'll say that they're miserable if they get
less than 9 hours of sleep, and they don't
understand how I can get through the day with just
four. The only thing that might set us apart is
that I can get through the school day and through
most of the night without falling asleep, but I am
constantly wanting to sleep. So when I let myself
sleep, I sleep a lot, as you can read in my post,
and it's almost impossible for me to wake up. So
although I can stay awake, I'm still very tired,
especially after school. Anyway, you might not be
tired all the time, like me but please read my
post and please get back to me on that. I'd
appreciate it!!
