Falling in your sleep

Hello,
I have Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue, so sleeping is difficult. But lately I have been dreaming (and I don't remember them) that I am falling and I feel like I am hitting and I jump awake. It frightens me so much. My heart races and I can't seem to wind down after this happens.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Please let me know what it is and what can be done about it.
