Posted by darin on March 04, 2000 at 02:46:25:When I was 17 I was diagnosed with Mononucleosis. For a short while after the doctor said I was over it I did feel better but not for long. Now it has been almost four years since then and I have never been the same. I can sleep up to 14hours and still wake up feeling worn and exausted. I have also noticed major loss of morning appetite and weird stomache aches if I don't eat. I catch colds and flus very easy and they are very severe. I have achey joints and muscles. I find it really hard most times to even do common daily activities. I have very bad mood swings and a short temper because I'm always tired and exausted. I think it may be Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I have read about people who suffer from CFS that were first diagnosed with mono then CFS who have similar symptoms like the ones I have been experiencing for the last three years. I have been suffering from this for what seems like forever and would just like some answers so I can feel like i did before i had mono.
If you have heard about anything similar to this and know anything that could help me please reply to this message.
THANK YOU, Darin
