My wife had similar problem - I would recommend getting a blood test for thyroid imbalance. I understand that it is frequently child bearing that can trigger worsening of the problem. Good luck - we started with the night sweats 10 yrs ago & were not diagnosed until last fall - by now nodules are large enough to interfere with swallowing etc and surgery is required - shouldn't be the case if you catch it in time.... good luck
