do IH treatments really work???

Hello i am a 29 year old male who has just recently (finaly after 8 years) been diagnosed with ideopathic hypersomnia as well as my OSA well i was wondering if the stimulant treatments currently used such as ritalin, provigil, and ive heard dexedrine works also but is being phased out. any comments on these or how they work for you, or other treatments.
