Mouth breathing

I have been a mouthbreather all my life.I am 44 years old and have suffered with fatigue all my life. What is my condition called?? Are there some books on the subject.
Why do I mouth breath instead of nose breath. I have been surfing the web today to find out info. I am going to anENT
and he has oredered a sleep study. I had one done several years ago and tried the CPAP machine. I couldn't sleep with that roaring thing on my nose. If you have an idea what is wrong- Please reply. Thanks . Ek. Kilgore
