Posted by vera on July 07, 2000 at 17:33:09:I recently did a sleep study and found that I get only 3% of REM sleep when the norm is between 18% and 25% at night. Does anyone have a similar problem and if so, what can I do to get my body to sleep harder and longer during the REM stage? During the MSLT the next day, I never even reached REM sleep. Also, what exactly is a sleep specialist really called? I can't find one since I don't know what they are called.
