Jactatio Capitis Nocturna - Head-banging, rocking.
Posted by Eric Via on July 23, 2000 at 22:34:03:What a mess it is - I've done this Jactatio Capitis Nocturna and brought it to a fine ART in my 35 years of living - I've been yelled at, pushed, kicked, and kicked out of beds and bedrooms for 35 years...sigh....
I've been yanked out of a tent on a Boy Scout camping trip and placed practically IN the fire because the scoutmasters thought I had hypothermia (!?)
I've had a dog bite me because he didn't care for the rocking situation. (Join the club!)
I went to a sleep Doc once and he put me on some Klonopin - did NOTHING - I really have strong doubts if something that a person has done since BIRTH can be 'stopped' - or even if it SHOULD be stopped - but I've reached the point in my life where I for one am sick of it - sure it doesn't hurt ME, but it would sure make me happy to sleep beside my wife for ONE night without being woken up and asked to move! :-(
Sigh sigh heavy sigh....
