Sleeping hot.

Posted by Mike on July 26, 2000 at 22:09:28:

I'm a normal, quite healthy 45 year-old guy and for the last 5-10 years have been a hot sleeper. I've read about night sweats but it doesn't quite sound like what I have.
I'm not under stress, and I get good, restful sleep, but my body temperature rises noticeably - my wife can't even cuddle up on cold nights because within a few minutes I get too hot! I do sweat some - my pillow is usually damp and on some occasions, my whole body sweats.
In all other respects, I am normal. I don't sweat through the day and am not obese. Does anybody have an idea what this is and how I can overcome it?
