Evi -

****** I AM NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL *****

Just someone who has had similar problems.

I seriously doubt your daughter is lazy. And I would question the depression.

One question: How many hours does your daughter sleep per night? Most teens need at least 9 - 10 hours a night.

Also I read somewhere (don't remember where) that teenagers often have problems with getting up in the morning, even when they try to go to sleep early.

You might want to read up on some of the different sleep disorders on this site. Click on the "sleep disorders" button on the top of the page. But truthfully a sleep specialist would be able to run the appropriate tests to help find what the problem is and treat it properly.

Good Luck

Angi
