Electricity when sleeping

Last week I had a strange event in my sleep. It started out with 2 faint red lights, then a warm sensation, next was electricity zapping up into my head with white lights popping. I began to breath heavy thinking in my dream that this would blow out some evil spirit. As I exhailed, lights came out of my eyes (at least that's what it seemed like. The electricity was painful. What's up? I have had buzzing in the past but never electricity and flashing lights.
