Called Nocturnal Eating Disorder

It is not rare. Falls in the Sleepwalking disorder range sometimes. There are people who eat things that they would never eat while awake like raw meat, etc.
It would be a good idea to talk to a sleep specialist about this. Could be dangerous if you ate something poisonous.
