REM Behaviour Disorder

Posted by kev on September 08, 2000 at 11:54:58:

I nevef heard of this condition until I saw it referred to at the top of the "Other Disorders" Forum. I have been posting on the Apnea forum for several months.

What exactly is REM Behaviour Disorder?

I ask because, in my last sleep study, I only spent 5 percent of my total sleep time in the REM phase. I don't know how serious that is or what should be done about it. The sleep doic said life stressors can supress REM (I am getting divoirced, am disabled by fatigue, unemployed, etc.).

So what else whould I be looking for other than apnea?
