If you definitely have sleep apnea and are disabled by fatigue, consider fibromyalgia as well. Research it independently of sleep websites, there are some very detailed sites for FM alone. Some notes on FM sites have stated that "new research" indicates FM is an alpha-delta sleep disorder. Now I'm seing FM cross referenced on sleep websites but with little info. Apnea also cause an alpha-delta sleep disturbance. Maybe apnea can cause FM? So then it's not a fluke you may have both, the one comes along with the other "a 2-4-1 special". I have been taking amitryptylene (see messages titled amitryptylene above)because my doctor thinksthis is a possibility and this is commonly used to treat FM. It makes me sleeplonger but I have had some benefit in reduced fatigue. There are lots of treatments info on FM on the web. Dig in.
