What About Memory Foam AND Heat?

You mentioned that memory foam is not a good idea if your room stays at 60 degrees F or below - what about those of us in tropical climates. My house has poor airconditioning and it is not unusual for the air temperature to be close to 80 degrees F when I go to bed at night. Would that cause a problem? I'm also aproaching the age of hot flashes. Would the change (increase) in body temperature cause problems?
